Joseph Baker, DPM, FACFAS
I have been in practice since 2016, serving the Tucson and surrounding communities with passion and empathy, and helping to care for people of all different ages and stages of life. My approach to patient care focuses on an open discussion with patients about treatment options, and a shared decision-making process along the way. I find that people appreciate this approach, and the transparency that comes with it. Communication is an essential part of the healthcare process, and I keep an open line of communication between myself, the patient, and other doctors and healthcare providers involved in this process.
I specialize in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, and I bring the latest proven technology and techniques into my practice. This includes techniques for bunion repair, ankle replacement, arthroscopic ankle surgery, and advanced healing technologies. I also enjoy the nonoperative treatment of orthopedic conditions, such as fractures, tendinitis, sprains and strains.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active, and cheering on sports teams from my hometown of Detroit.
